The House Rousseau Inn has been thriving in Sentinel for generations upon generations. Over the years, the Inn has been renovated and added to frequently, with the House Rousseau family taking pride in environment they provide for their customers. Despite it's opulence, the House Rousseau Inn offers a comfortable atmosphere for all types. Individuals from all walks of life are welcomed and can be served alongside any other. The Rousseau family manages this by maintaining a beautiful atmosphere that freeform, instead of strict like usual nobility.
Although we utilize the Sisters of the Sands Inn in the game as a backdrop, we do not claim to actually own the Sisters of the Sands, as the actual House Rousseau Inn would sit a bit further out on the outskirts of the city - looming gorgeously in the distance like a temple.
What purpose does the House Rousseau Inn serve?
House Rousseau created the House Rousseau Inn to attract business for their Skooma and other illicit trade, but also to provide a neutral environment for discussions and cooperation between both allied and rival criminal groups for The Communion. The actual Inn is the home of The Communion where groups who pay the price of acceptance to House Rousseau for use of such accomodations can enjoy the benefits that are similar to an insurance policy.
What are the House Rules?
Those who join are protected under the Code of Honor which is maintained at the Inn by ensuring the House Rules are followed:
No harm can be committed against another patron of the establishment unless approved by House Rosseau.
No extensive business dealings can be conducted in private forums. The utilization of a private meeting room offered by House Rousseau must occur.
Complete discretion in regards to the true purpose of the Inn.
No interference to House Rousseau business on the grounds.
No using direct reference to The Communion in common areas of the Inn.
Any who break these rules will be sentenced accordingly and removed from membership.
What is the layout of the Inn?
See photo representations linked below.
Second Bottom Floor:
Members of The Communion only would have knowledge of certain parts of this level including the dungeons, where those who violate the Code of Honor will wait for their sentence. Precious goods and coin could also be stored on this level, but the location is only known to certain inviduals of House Rousseau for safe-keeping purposes. The House Rousseau armory and guard areas, the Sentinels, would be located on this level as well.
Second and Third Floors: This is not in game, so use your imagination! These floors would contain many guest and private rooms, all with a theme of decor or purpose. There would be elegant rooms of all price ranges from basic to deluxe, allowing those of all stations to stay.
Top Floor: This would contain a vast amount of different sized rooms that serve as the House employee quarters. Those that are a Head of one department of the House would have a private suite, while those beneath them would share. There would be one wing of guest rooms on this level, the most expensive.
Glorius balconies, a rooftop pool, and a convservatory would grace this level for guests to visit. Stations for guards would also be positioned strategically to protect the Inn.
